Enjoy an amazing Kenyan safari on a budget during this southern voyage safari. Visit the teeming wildlife plains of Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks and the amazing elephant herds of Amboseli National Park. This affordable safari utilizes carefully selected safari lodges and is perfectly organized for a truly memorable wildlife experience.

Day 1 Safari/Tour

Nairobi – Tsavo East

You will be picked up from your hotel/residence early in the morning and head for the Mombasa – Nairobi highway, driving through semi-arid country to Tsavo East National Park, one of the world’s greatest wildlife sanctuaries. Tsavo East is noted for its vast elephant herds and variety of game including buffalo, lion, cheetah, leopard, giraffe, zebra and plains game of almost every kind.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and an afternoon rest. At 1600hrs, you will have your first game drive in the park before returning back to your lodge in time for dinner.

Day 2 Safari/Tour

Tsavo East – Tsavo West

After an early breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and enjoy a game drive en route to Tsavo West National Park. Along the way you will stop at the Mudanda rock. This massive rock, which emerges from the plain, is a water catchments area that supplies a natural dam at its base. It is a vital watering point during the dry seasons and famous for its photo opportunities, At 1.6 km long, 20 m high, the rock offers unique panoramic views across Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks.

Exit Tsavo East and enter Tsavo West, continuing your game drive en route to your lodge. You will arrive at the hotel in time for lunch. At 1600hrs, you will have your first game drive in the park before returning back to your lodge in time for dinner.

Day 3 Safari/Tour

Tsavo West – Amboseli

Enjoy the spectacle as the grazers and hunters move on unperturbed by your presence. Head to the Mzima Springs, where we will view hippos, crocodiles, exotic fish and a variety of bird species. The greenery surrounding the springs is a welcome contrast to the harsh terrain that forms the bulk of Tsavo West.

Later you will depart Tsavo West, journeying through the jungle to arrive at your base in Amboseli in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon on a game drive in this open park. This is a leisurely activity since game are easily the seen. Meanwhile, Mt. Kilimanjaro provides an incredible back-drop for photography. If the clouds open up, the sight of the snow peaked mount will leave you mesmerized.

Day 4 Safari/Tour

Amboseli to Nairobi

The sunrise and emergence of the mountain peak from the clouds this morning is dramatic. Marvel at the vistas and prolific wildlife as you enjoy your early morning game drive. Return to your camp for breakfast and then depart mid-morning, heading for back to Nairobi. This will conclude your safari.
